A Dream Measured in Steps
Long before the showcases were filled with gemstones and gold, and long before clients gathered around to admire each piece, the story of GoldandStones by Gayle at Power Plant Mall began with a simple act of faith.
Founder and Designer Gayle Guansing would often visit the mall and quietly imagine her brand occupying one of its spaces. As she walked through the corridors, she would measure areas with her own footsteps, picturing where each display might stand and how people would experience the jewelry. To others, it may have seemed like an ordinary visit. To Gayle, it was the beginning of a dream she carried for years.
That dream became reality when GoldandStones by Gayle opened its first ever Pop Up at Power Plant Mall in Makati City from April 13 to June 12, 2026. More than a retail space, it represented a significant milestone for the brand. It was the result of years of perseverance, belief, and a willingness to keep moving forward even when the outcome was uncertain.
Modern Heirlooms
At the heart of the Pop Up was the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and pieces created to be treasured for years to come.
The space featured GoldandStones by Gayle’s signature collections alongside jewelry handcrafted by local artisans and carefully selected pieces sourced from trusted partners. Visitors were introduced to vibrant colored gemstones, natural diamonds, and creations crafted in 14 karat and 18 karat gold.
Beyond the jewelry itself, the Pop Up offered something more personal. Clients were invited to discover pieces that reflected their own milestones, memories, and stories. Whether commemorating a life achievement, marking a special occasion, or simply celebrating oneself, each piece carried meaning beyond its materials.
Space Defining Milestones
GoldandStones by Gayle entered the Pop Up with a clear intention: to introduce the brand to a wider audience and create meaningful connections through jewelry.
Over the course of two months, the Pop Up welcomed new clients, strengthened relationships with long time supporters, and introduced the brand to individuals who discovered it for the first time. What began as a temporary space gradually became a place for conversation, learning, and shared appreciation for craftsmanship and gemstones.
The Pop Up also brought together clients, friends of the brand, creative collaborators, and supporters who believed in Gayle’s vision. On April 18, 2026, GoldandStones by Gayle hosted a private gathering where guests experienced the collections firsthand and learned more about the stories behind the pieces. The event created a sense of excitement and helped introduce the brand to an even wider community.
For GoldandStones by Gayle, the Pop Up was never simply about having a presence inside a shopping mall. It was about bringing a long imagined vision to life. What was once measured in footsteps became a space filled with conversations, discoveries, and meaningful connections.
While the Pop Up lasted only two months, its impact will remain far longer. It marked an important chapter in the growth of the brand and served as a reminder that some dreams begin quietly. Sometimes they start with a simple walk through a mall, a belief in what is possible, and the courage to keep going until the vision becomes real.
